I ate what?
I can’t believe what I ate today. I’m too embarrassed to tell you all here. Let’s just say, I feel awful. I did log it all. Gross.
Tomorrow is another day and I will do better. No trips the cafeteria or stops at the vending machine or take out for dinner. Tomorrow I will have a better plan and I will stick to it.

Thunderstorms
We had some very strong storms come though this morning from about 3am to 4:30am. They woke up the whole family. The dog hid under the bed and the 6 year old woke up crying. She crawled into bed with me and Daddy. We were awake most of this time.
As I lay there, I was thinking what to do for a workout if it was still raining. My choices? Either go to the gym and run the track, do a video, or Wii Fit. What did I choose? LOL To sleep. I was awake during most of the storm and just couldn’t get up and out of bed when the alarm went off at 5:10am.
I feel guilty, since I didn’t workout yesterday. But on the plus side I did a lot of walking this weekend. That counts for something. I walked all over the city on Saturday and at the amusement park yesterday.

Another week, another pound
I have set a weight loss goal…a short term goal. I want to be under 200 lbs by the end of summer. Now, I haven’t decided if the end of summer is Labor Day or September 23. I think I’ll aim for Labor Day.
I’d better get to work. I’ve got 17 lbs to lose!

A TMI Moment
Ok…I need to share a “to much information” moment…I know a few other chubby runners will understand. I noticed today that when I walk, my thighs do not rub together. What a great feeling! If that’s not enough to keep me motivated, I’m not sure what is! LOL ![]()

5 lbs down, only ??? to go! I wish it would come off faster, but I know that’s not healthy and I’d probably gain it all back anyway. I didn’t gain all this weight overnight…it’s taken a while. It’s a great feeling to see the scale down; if only a pound at a time.

Status quo…it’s ok
I’m ok with the fact I didn’t lose this week. Actually, I’m just glad I didn’t gain. I didn’t workout much because of my back…ate really great, but unhealthy food this past week. It doesn’t matter…what’s done is done and all that does matter is I’m back on track.
